Nursery
Rednal Hill Infant School offers 18 morning places, 18 afternoon sessions and 8 full time places. Mrs Warden and Mrs Aitkens are the Nursery Class Teachers. Miss Deakin and Miss Taylor are the Teaching Assistants.
Children become eligible for Nursery when they reach their third birthday. Every child aged 3 years old is eligible for 15 hours per week government funding. For the majority of children they would start in the September after they turn three. A January and April intake will take place if we have spaces.
Open Morning
We are very proud of our Nursery class. Nursery children learn through play. They are encouraged to explore our well resourced, creative environment. Evidence shows that children who have attended our nursery class do especially well in Reception.
Induction
On offer of a Nursery place, a play session will take place in June to introduce your child to the Nursery setting. In September your child’s Classteacher and a Teaching Assistant will visit you at home to meet you and your child and arrange a start date.
